BEFORE YOUR WAX

For best results, stop shaving (removing hair) for 2 full weeks before your appointment Exfoliate the night before your appointment Please arrive 5-10 minutes before your appointment time If possible, do not wear deodorant, lotions, or oils to your appointment. Doing so makes it harder for your hair to be removed.

When receiving intimate services, always freshen up in the ladies room first!

DURING YOUR WAX

Relax, breathe, and know that you are in good hands

Talk to your specialist, after all she is your new best friend now lol

Listen to your specialist and ask all the questions you need answers to, Our specialist are all highly trained and qualified

AFTER YOUR WAX

After receiving your wax, refrain from wearing tight clothing, working out, public pools, and scented lotions ,soaps, and oils for 24hrs.

Do not exfoliate directly after your wax appointment. Give your skin 24hrs to recover

Applying our Rescue Lotion to your skin after a wax will help calm your skin and soothe any irritation.

Wear comfortable cotton underwear to avoid further irritation if it’s your first time receiving a Brazilian wax, or go underwear less!

WHAT DO I DO?

Facial Treatment

BEFORE YOUR TREATMENT

*Stay out of the sun and away from tanning for 5 days before service.  Sun damage and skin do not mix and should be avoided.

*Wear clothing that is comfortable.  We recommend wearing clothing that is easy to change in and out of.

*Know the name of the skin care products you are using at home.  Bring a list if you need to, in case you forget.

*Skip any strong at-home treatments the week before service.

*Be sure to mention any medications, medical conditions, and/or past skin conditions you may have had.  Even over-the-counter medications can affect your skin.

*If you've never had a facial before and attending an event and don't know how your skin will respond, we recommend scheduling an appointment about 4-6 weeks in advance with a follow-up appointment closer to your event date.  This way you have time to address any negative skin reactions and get the maximum results from your service.

DURING YOUR TREATMENT

If you've never had a facial at Meek Beauty Spa, we will have you fill out a short health questionnaire to help guide your skin therapist in choosing the best products for your skin type.  You will meet your skin therapist, and you will be escorted to the treatment room.  You will get something to cover up with so you can take off as much clothing as you are comfortable with.  Your skin therapist needs access to your face, neck and shoulders.  If you are wearing a bra, you can leave it on just make sure to pull your straps down, if you decide to remove your shirt.

Lastly, relax!!!

A facial is meant to be relaxing and stress free.  Do not sweat it if you do not follow these tips completely.  These are just recommendations and tips to make sure you get the best treatment while you are with us.

ENJOY!!!!
